Arctic Region Supercomputing Center (ARSC)

The Arctic Region Supercomputing Center (ARSC ) is a high-performance computing (HPC) research unit of the University of Alaska Fairbanks. ARSC has been serving the computational needs of the academic and DOD community since 1993. ARSC computational systems and resources include a wide range of high performance computing, storage, and visualization technology.

GINA works in close partnership with ARSC on several projects: ARSC storage backs GINA’s deep archive and the pacman supercomputing cluster is used for some of GINA’s large scale image processing jobs.
