Iarc

The International Arctic Research Center’s (IARC ) mission is to foster arctic research in an international setting to help the nation and the international community to understand, prepare for, and adapt to the pan-Arctic impacts of climate change. The Center is home to scientists studying the impacts of climate change in the Arctic, as well as scientists working to understand the regions history.

GINA became administratively a part of IARC in 2011 and continues to work with IARC scientists through the NOAA High Latitude Proving Ground, Pacific Area Climate Monitoring and Analysis Network, and the Cooperative Institute for Alaska Research.
