Lisa Wirth


GIS Image Analyst

Lisa is a GIS Image Analyst for GINA. She is primarily working on the EPSCoR-ACE project, using aerial photography and satellite imagery for a change detection analysis. Prior to working at GINA, Lisa worked for the Alaska Satellite Facility (ASF) at UAF. While at ASF, Lisa assisted researchers with satellite data acquisition, processing, and analysis.

She holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin and a M.S. in Fisheries from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Her Master's work focused on using GIS and remote sensing technologies to identify spawning habitat for fall-run chum salmon in interior Alaska.
