Geospatial Data Manager

What I do

I am the Geospatial Data Manager for GINA for the last 5 years. I have worked on projects in Arctic Alaska investigating climate and infrastructure-related changes, using aerial photography and satellite imagery.

Prior to working at GINA, I worked for the Alaska Satellite Facility (ASF) at UAF. While at ASF, I assisted researchers with satellite data acquisition, processing, and analysis.

I earned my B.S. in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin and a M.S. in Fisheries from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. My Master's work focused on using GIS and remote sensing technologies to identify spawning habitat for fall-run chum salmon in interior Alaska.
